At the Academy, children are able to think and express themselves by creating animation, claymation, short movies, video games, and their own web pages. Our focus is on functional skills required for self advocacy, community integration, employment and self care. Sophie’s Art Gallery, a program of St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center serves 150 adults with developmental disabilities. Sophie’s was designed as a partnership of artists, gallery, and community. As such, student’s art is exhibited in the community at local business, high schools, libraries, art shows and events.
